In 2004, along with her Dance Partner, Katie helped establish and guide the Salsa and Hustle dance competitive industries, developing rules, regulations, and judging formats for the World Salsa Championships (aired on ESPN 2005-2008), creating a system which today is the standard employed the world over in the Salsa Dance industry. As a founder of the IHDA (the governing organization for Latin Hustle), and along with her partners, Billy Fajardo and Nelson Flores, she continues production of the International Hustle & Salsa Competition (IHSC), now in it’s 20th year. Along with her partners, she also produces the World Salsa Summit, the largest and most prestigious event of it’s kind in the world, and now entering its 8th year.
A return to Special Events Production is a natural and intuitive move for Katie, who has largely retired from performing, and is increasingly focused on production, events, and development of talent. Assembling a team of the world’s finest artists, performers, producers, and coordinators, is her way of spearheading her return to the hands on servicing of her special roster of clients.

John Madric - Director of Operations
Australian born, and a budding guitarist from a young age, John immersed himself into the Melbourne and Sydney music scene in the late 70’s, moving in the same circles as the likes of AC/DC, Air Supply, Little River Band, and Men At Work. Sharing billings with acts like INXS, Australia’s Cold Chisel, Icehouse and more, as well as luminaries like Bo Diddley, John ensconced himself as an often sought after musician. In the early 80’s John’s focus shifted to more commercial elements of music production, whilst still performing regularly with various local acts, as well as forming closer associations and friendships with visiting international acts, maintaining many of these friendships to this day. Often in demand as a session guitarist, John even found himself recording parts in promotional videos and TV commercials for acts such as Iron Maiden, Deep Purple, and AC/DC. A brief entry into the Live Music Video Production industry, saw him partner with a leading Australian TV producer on a number of concert productions, before returning to focus again on the production of original music with a local Irish vocalist.
A solid foundational career in consulting through the 1990’s and early 2000’s, culminated in a move to Europe in early 2004, and in 2010 a move to the USA. A reputable and recognized local guitarist, often found joining local artists on stage, radio, or studio, John maintains an intense passion for the music he performs. And with his Bands, The Madric Trio, The Madric Project, and MAD RIC, John still makes special live appearances several times a year.
A chance meeting with Kate Marlow in early 2018, resulted, not only in a melding of minds and passion for the arts, but so much more. John and Katie share a home in Fort Lauderdale, and together are at the helm of KMP.
